Bridgeport, W.Va. — Aug. 11, 2026 — Allegheny Science & Technology (AST), a leading woman-owned technology and energy solutions firm, is proud to announce the award of a new 4.5-year contract supporting the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division, Biometrics Operations Division (BOD).
The BOD serves as the Department of War’s (DoW) authoritative organization for operational biometric technologies and information management, enabling identity superiority through the collection, management, and exchange of biometric information across the Military Services, Combatant Commands, Defense Agencies, and interagency partners.

The contract will be performed primarily at the Biometrics Technology Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where AST personnel will work alongside Government stakeholders to sustain and enhance mission-critical biometrics operations supporting defense, law enforcement, and national security objectives.
