rgy Demonstrations (OCED) to develop a clean hydrogen hub in Appalachia. As a member of ARCH2’s Program Management Office (PMO), AST, alongside Battelle, GTI Energy, TRC Companies, and the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) is responsible for the hub’s management.

In October 2023, the DOE selected ARCH2 as one of seven hubs from across the nation to enter award negotiations for the DOE’s Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs Program (H2Hubs). This landmark achievement marks a significant milestone in AST’s ongoing commitment to advancing clean energy technologies and sustainable practices in West Virginia, the Appalachian Region, and beyond.
