This successful re-appraisal reaffirms AST’s ongoing commitment to high-quality performance, continuous improvement, and disciplined, repeatable processes across the enterprise.
CMMI is a globally recognized framework that helps organizations enhance their capabilities in product and service development. AST’s renewed Maturity Level 3 status highlights its proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects with predictable, high-quality outcomes.

The appraisal was conducted by Sensible Process, LLC, a certified CMMI Lead Appraiser organization, and confirms that AST’s processes remain well-defined, data-driven, and effectively institutionalized. AST first achieved CMMI Level 3 in 2016 and has continued to strengthen its systems and capabilities since.
In addition to its CMMI appraisal, AST is also ISO 9001:2015 certified for its software and systems development, maintenance, and its professional and technical support services for federal government agencies. This certification demonstrates that AST meets the rigorous quality management system (QMS) standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)—further reinforcing its commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality service to customers and partners alike.
